Report: Minsk may load 2 Druzhba pipelines with European oil
MINSK, Sep 6 (PRIME) -- Belarus is working on oil supplies across Poland and the Baltic states, which will use two lines of the Druzhba pipeline now loaded by Russia, President Alexander Lukashenko told newswire Belta, as reported on Friday.
“We are working on the northern route (of oil supply). I told this explicitly to the Russian authorities,” Lukashenko said.
“Across both Poland and the Baltic states. There is some progress. But if we start to ship oil across Poland, we will take both lines of the Druzhba pipeline now used to export Russian oil. Do the Russians need this? No. So let’s find a middle ground peacefully and do the best thing. These are my demands.”
